WATCH OUT:How Newcastle Knights stars Kalyn Ponga and Bradman Best step out with there partners……..

Newcastle Knights stars Kalyn Ponga and Bradman Best were all smiles as they stepped out onto the red carpet at the 2024 Knights awards with their glamourous partners on Tuesday night.

The Knights’ season ended in heartbreaking fashion with a close loos to the Cowboys in the finals, but the side had plenty to celebrate at the club awards night, with Dane Gagai taking home three major honours including the top gong for Player of the Year.

Superstar fullback Ponga appeared at the event with new partner Gaby Dunn, shortly after the pair’s romance started.

Dunn, a paramedic, soft launched the relationship last week Instagram by posting a shot to Instagram of the pair together on a beach.

She has also been spotted at Knights games supporting the talented No.1, who was at his brilliant best against the Cowboys on Saturday night.

Bradman Best was photographed with glamourous partner Kayla Fenech at the event.

She is the daughter of Australia’s greatest ever boxer, Jeff Fenech.

In July, Fenech revealed that her dad ‘went apes**t’ when she called him to say she was dating the Newcastle centre – and the former world champion explained that he had good reason to be.

I’d always warned my girls about going out with league players,’ Fenech said.

‘I’ve been knocking around with footballers all my life. They’re young and they love going out and having a good time.

‘So when she rang and told me, I went off the deep end. I gave her a roasting. She kept trying to say, “Dad, he’s a lovely guy”. Kayla was telling me every day how nice he was.

‘Bradman knew I was angry, but he told Kayla, “I’ll prove your dad wrong” – and he has.’

The ring legend and Best now get along well, with the pair even doing some boxing training together.

Kayla, who met Best through social media, moved to Newcastle to be closer to him.

‘He’s a good person, very down to earth, and treats me really well,’ she said.

‘Just an all-round good person with a big heart.

‘He’s actually perfect.’

Unfortunately Best missed out on the elimination final against North Queensland due to a recurrence of his hamstring injury.
