NRL Judiciary Report: Fisher-Harris to miss Raiders game

Warriors prop James Fisher-Harris will miss the Round 12 clash against the Raiders after copping a one-match ban for a Careless High Tackle.

In his first game back from a pectoral injury suffered in Round 6, Fisher-Harris caught Harrison Graham high in the 77th minute at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.

Had Fisher-Harris chosen to fight the charge at the judiciary and been found guilty at panel he would have missed two games.

The other players charged following Saturday’s games were Manly’s Reuben Garrick (Grade 1 Dangerous Contact) and Cronulla’s Siosifa Talakai (Grade 1 Careless High Tackle).

Garrick and Talakai have both been fined $1000 with early guilty pleas.

Bulldogs captain Stephen Crichton was charged with a Dangerous Contact offence but is clear to play for NSW in Origin One after entering an early guilty plea.

The tackle on Roosters prop Lindsay Collins in 43rd minute of Friday night’s game at Accor Stadium was assessed as a Grade 1 offence by the match review committee.

As this was Crichton’s third and subsequent offence of this nature he has been fined $3000. Had he fought the charge and been found guilty at the judiciary he faced a two-game suspension.

Dolphins playmaker Kodi Nikorima has been fined $1800 after entering an early guilty plea to a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge.
