Reese finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 95-83 home loss to the Aces. She has averaged 15.8 points and 12.9 rebounds since the double-double streak began on June 4 versus the New York Liberty.
Reese, the former LSU star who led the Tigers to the 2023 national championship, has put up some great performances of late. She grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds in just 29 minutes on June 20 against the Dallas Wings in a 83-72 win.
Reese then followed that up with a career-high 25 points (alongside 16 boards) in leading the Sky from 12 points down with six-and-a-half minutes left in the fourth quarter to defeat the Indiana Fever 88-87 last Sunday.
She’s been nothing short of sensational for the Sky. And now she has an opportunity to break Parker’s single-season consecutive double-double record Sunday when Chicago hosts the Minnesota Lynx at 3 p.m. ET.
