Tyler Linderbaum Not at Ravens Practice, Roquan Smith Still Sidelined

The Ravens will play in a dome Monday night in Los Angeles, but given the chance to practice in some foul weather Friday, Baltimore took it.

The Ravens are practicing with snow and a wintry mix falling at the Under Armour Performance Center, but they’re doing so without two leaders on each side of the ball.

Linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) is sidelined for a third straight day. The new absentee is center Tyler Linderbaum, who hasn’t been on the injury report this week.

Smith has never missed a game as a Raven because of injury. He left the field late in the third quarter in Pittsburgh, returned briefly, then was ruled out in the fourth quarter.

“[Smith] is working hard to get healthy,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said Thursday. “He’s not ruled out by any stretch – I can say that – and he’s working toward the game at this point.”

Not having Smith would be a tough blow for a defense going up against Greg Roman’s Chargers rushing attack featuring former Ravens J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards. Trenton Simpson and likely Malik Harrison would be the starters.

Defensive tackle Travis Jones (ankle), safety Sanoussi Kane (ankle), and cornerback Arthur Maulet (calf) are also still missing. Jones is another key part of the run defense.

Wide receiver Nelson Agholor (illness) returned to the practice field.
