Just Inn: David Pollack Reveals Ohio State’s Biggest Weakness

Week 13 of the college football season has concluded, and teams are getting ready for their final regular-season games.

The biggest game heading into the weekend was between the No. 2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (10-1) and the No. 5 ranked Indiana Hoosiers (10-1). Many believe that the Buckeyes are strong contenders for the national championship. On the other hand, there are questions about how good the Hoosiers truly are, especially since they had only defeated one team with a winning record prior to this game: the 6-5 Washington Huskies.

After Indiana’s impressive opening drive, which took a 7-0 lead, Ohio State dominated the rest of the game, winning 38-15. This commanding victory almost solidifies the Buckeyes as legitimate contenders.

There may be a factor that prevents Ohio State from reaching its goal. On the “David Pollack College Football” YouTube channel, the former All-American stated that he believes the Buckeyes’ biggest weakness is at cornerback.

“I don’t see a lot of gamewreckers,” Pollack said. “But I don’t see a lot of weaknesses, except at the cornerback spot. I’ve got to address the cornerback spot as a weakness. I’ve seen enough to know. There are enough penalties back there, enough flags, enough big plays that it’s not a strength.”

Ohio State’s defense ranks No. 4 in passing yards allowed and has seven interceptions on the year.

Davison Igbinosun was called for two pass interference calls on the Hoosiers’ first possession, which aided the touchdown drive.

His penalties have been such an issue that defensive coordinator Jim Knowles stated earlier this season
