TSU takes down Southeast Missouri State, returns to FCS playoffs
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Tennessee State University took down Southeast Missouri State University in college football on Saturday, advancing to the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
The Tennessee State Tigers beat the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks 28-21 to earn a share of the Big South-OVC Championship.

That’s the first conference title for the school since 1999, and just the third in program history.
The Tigers will take on Montana on Saturday for its first FCS playoff game since 2013. The game will be on the road in Montana Saturday night. Kickoff is Saturday at 9:15p.m. CST.
