Breaking News: Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jaden Rashada open up on his future

Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jaden Rashada entered the NCAA transfer portal on Jan. 5, 2025. Rashada has not committed to a new college football program, but he is one of the top available players in the transfer portal according to 247Sports.

Rashada is the second-best player that remains available in the transfer portal behind Washington Huskies transfer receiver Johntay Cook (who was previously with Texas). Rashada is the top ranked available quarterback.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound quarterback did not play any snaps for Georgia in 2024. Rashada served as the third-string quarterback for UGA behind Carson Beck and Gunner Stockton. Beck transferred to Miami this offseason, which means Georgia’s 2025 quarterback room is expected to be led by Gunner Stockton and Ryan Puglisi. The Bulldogs have an inexperienced quarterback room, but Stockton did show some promise in the Sugar Bowl and SEC championship.

Jaden Rashada has 82 career passing attempts from his time with Arizona State. He threw for 485 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions during the 2023 season with Arizona State.

North Carolina could be a potential transfer portal destination for Rashada. UNC’s starting quarterback Jacolby Criswell has already transferred this offseason.
