Georgia signee named as ‘best route runner’ at All-American Bowl
Georgia Bulldogs signee Talyn Taylor, a four-star wide receiver recruit, has been named as the best route runner to the Navy All-American Bowl. Taylor showcased his route running and ability to separate throughout the week. He could see immediate playing time with Georgia as a true freshman.
Taylor originally committed to Georgia over Ohio State and Notre Dame in June 2024.
Taylor is listed at 6-foot-1, 173 pounds. He is originally from Geneva, Illinois, where he played high school football for Geneva Community High School. His body control, jump ball ability, and elusiveness have been heavily praised, contributing to his rating as the ninth-best receiver in the 2025 class.
Taylor is the No. 49 recruit in the country and the No. 2 recruit in Illinois. He has the potential to play immediately as a freshman with Georgia.
The four-star recruit enrolled early at Georgia and has a lot of potential. Taylor will compete with wide receivers Dillon Bell, Texas A&M transfer Noah Thomas, USC transfer Zachariah Branch, London Humphreys, and more for playing time in 2025.
UGA also signed wide receivers CJ Wiley, Landon Roldan, Thomas Blackshear, and Tyler Williams.
