Former Ohio State 4-Star QB Announces Visit to Major SEC Program
Ohio State has been something of a literal transfer station for quarterbacks over the past couple of years, and this offseason is no different.
Will Howard came over from Kansas State this season, starting 12 games and leading the team to the No. 8 seed in the College Football Playoff after a two-loss campaign. He replaced Kyle McCord, who left Columbus to play for Syracuse in 2024.
Howard’s backup Devin Brown has announced his plans to enter the transfer portal, which means he could be on his way to another program as well. Meanwhile Air Noland, a top-10 transfer portal QB by the estimates of some outlets and a former Buckeye, is also in the portal and planning to visit an up-and-coming SEC program over the weekend.
“Former Ohio State quarterback Air Noland will be visiting South Carolina on Saturday, he tells [247Sports/CBS Sports],” Brandon Marcello reported to X on Friday, Dec. 20. “Noland is rated the No. 10 QB in the 247Sports transfer portal rankings.”
