Heavy loss for Blacktown Workers in NSW Cup

It was a very tough afternoon for the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles at a cold and windy Wentworth Park, going down 58-6 to the Sydney Roosters in The Knock On Effect NSW Cup.

The Roosters dominated from the outset and ran in five first half tries to lead 32-6 at half-time before finishing the game with 10 tries. It was Blacktown Workers’ biggest loss of the season.

In good news for the Sea Eagles, experienced NRL hooker Lachlan Croker played his first game since early May with prop Aaron Woods also returning from injury. Brad Parker also returned to his customary centre position after playing in the back-row all season.
