Round 14 Team Lists: Suaalii cops four-game ban, Sailor in for Walsh, Hynes out, Penrith’s surprise Edwards call

Joseph Suaalii, who was sent off in Origin I after being charged with a grade-two dangerous high tackle, will miss a month of action for the Roosters.

The Roosters will make an announcement regarding their decision to accept the four-match ban or risk a fifth for their star center should they choose to dispute the judiciary this week, as the club is off this week.

The collision resulted in a category-one concussion for Brisbane fullback Reece Walsh, who will miss Saturday’s match at Suncorp Stadium against the Sharks. Nicho Hynes is being rested for the match because of a calf issue that Walsh brought into Origin.

The rest of the Origin contingent appear set to back up for club footy with neither side reporting any injuries from the game

Cronulla coach Craig Fitzgibbon has named his Origin lock Cameron McInnes in this weekend’s starting 13, while second-rower Teig Wilton (shoulder) is out.

Hampered by a right calf issue since early last month, Hynes is the only player on either Origin side who was not named in the extended squad for their side’s game this weekend – other than players whose teams have the bye.

The Sharks will instead start Braydon Trindall and Daniel Atkinson in the halves for Saturday night’s clash at Suncorp Stadium and spare Hynes from playing on the trip to Brisbane.

New Zealand welcome back in-form fullback Charnze Nicole-Klokstad, while regular centre Rocco Berry comes in after he was a late withdrawal last week.

Addin Fonua-Blake reclaims his spot as the Wahs big man following disciplinary issues, as Wayde Egan returns at the base of the ruck – with captain Tohu Harris back to his staple No.13 spot but Shaun Johnson (pec) needs another week out.

Cowboys coach Todd Payten has decided against naming his Origin stars in the best 17, leaving the Queensland representatives on the extended bench due to the quick turnaround.

Heilum Luki has been selected at second-row despite an above-horizontal tackle scare against the Roosters.
