leaving me behind and making peace with Caitlin Clark is the worst….see More

Sheryl Swoopes leaves Angel Reese behind, makes peace with Caitlin Clark and gives her what she deserves after her big physical makeover

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are gearing up for another WNBA season after surpassing expectations last campaign.

On the back of a Rookie of the Year award win for Clark, the Fever made the playoffs for the first time since 2016. However, their time in the playoffs was short as they were dumped in the first round by the Connecticut Sun

Nevertheless, confidence is high in Indiana and the team has made several moves in order to improve the roster around Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.

Swoopes weighs in on Fever moves

WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes has weighed in on Indiana’s offseason and their prospects in video shared on X.

“The team I feel made the biggest moves, maybe even the best moves, that would be the Indiana Fever,” Swoopes said.

“I think the Indiana Fever went from being in the playoffs last season to potentially winning a championship… I’m excited to see what they’re going to do.”

While Swoopes made it clear she’s a fan of how the Fever operated in the offseason, she did note that much of their success will depend on Clark.

“How much stronger Caitlin got in the offseason. You know she was in the gym working on her game,” said Swoopes.

The Fever landed names like DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard to try and add some veteran leadership to the team. Bonner remains a force despite being 36, and averaged 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and 1.2 blocks in 40 games for Connecticut last season.

As for Howard, she brings championship experience thanks to her three rings. She’s also a former Defensive Player of the Year.
