The College Football Playoff is in full swing. On Friday, during his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” “College GameDay” analyst Nick Saban revealed which team he believes is the most talented in the country: Ohio State.
The Buckeyes are seeded eighth and face No. 1 seed Oregon on Jan. 1.
“I think this is probably the most talented team, as long as they play to the standard level on offense and defense. They’ve pretty much got it all,” Saban said. “I think they’re the most talented team, but the question is how consistently they play to their capabilities. If they play like they did against Tennessee, they’re going to have a really good chanc
e to win the championship.”

Saban, the former Alabama coach, is one of the most knowledgeable minds in the college football world, and he has been a terrific addition to “College GameDay.” He made a great point about Ohio State.
The Buckeyes have had several games this season in which they didn’t play up to their full capabilities. Their loss to Michigan comes to mind as one. But when they do play at their best, as against Tennessee, it’s hard for any team in the country to slow them.
