Quincy Jones left the world peacefully on November 3, at his home in Bel Air, California. His demise was confirmed in a statement by his publicist, Arnold Robinson, who did not specify the cause. As soon as the news spread, several renowned faces from and outside of the music industry took to their social media handles to grieve the legend’s demise. Among those is Osaka’s boyfriend Corade, who recalled his bond with the legendary record producer, and highlighted how one of the biggest highlights of his life came alongside Jones.

Taking to his Instagram Story, Cordae shared a video of himself with the late musician from an interview. He wrote, “Rest in power to the Great Quincy Jones,” In a subsequent story, he shared a screenshot from his album, “The Lost Boy,” which was released in 2019, and the vocals in which were given by Jones.
