WNBA Fans Are In Tears After Las Vegas Aces Leave Kate Martin Behind On Team Bus

Former Iowa Hawkeye and current Las Vegas Aces rookie Kate Martin has quickly endeared herself to her new franchise.

Not only has Martin impressed on the court, but her carefree, team-first attitude has been apparent to her new teammates and coaches.

And Martin is also well aware that rookies need to be the butt of the joke at times; which is proven by her having to wear a pink Hello Kitty backpack to every away game that the Aces play.

However, Martin had bigger worries than a pink backpack on the Aces’ most recent road trip.

On Tuesday evening, Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson posted a video to her Instagram story of the team bus driving away from their hotel.

Yet Martin is not on the bus. Instead, she’s running behind it, trying desperately to catch up.

“Don’t be late to the bus,” Wilson’s caption reads.

Fans are having a field day on social media with Martin’s mishap.

“HELPPPPP,” one fan wrote with a bunch of crying emojis, alongside screenshots of Martin running.

“made her do extra cardio,” another fan wrote.
